MISTER_COCO

July 21-22, 2019

This page will be updated weekly until puppies are all placed in their homes.  Periodically pup pictures will be updated as their owners send them to me.  Please see sire/dam's profile for more details on health, and training and pictures.

Mister od Telepa was imported as a puppy from Eastern Europe.   He holds both FCI/AKC registrations.  His pedigree lines are true to the kennels training their dogs for show and IPO work. Mister has documented health tests, including OFA. Coco is of European pedigree lines.  Her sire was imported from same kennel as Mister, Pierce Patrick od Telepa.   Coco's mother is of pedigree lines where her sire also came from European kennels such as - Altobello/di Perlanera/King of Darkness. Coco has been health tested including OFA.

Coco was to have 10 puppies with this litter.   As labor commenced, after 6 puppies born, Coco was having difficulties with labor.  We were given Oxytocin just in case this happens.   Still Coco was having labor pushing the 7th pup out.  So off to the vet we went.  Then within 5 minutes, puppy #7 came out, but was stillborn.   Within  another 5 minutes, as Coco was wondering where the stillborn pup went, puppy #8 arrived, alive and Coco was thrilled and cleaning up pup.  Then after several hours at vet, puppy #9 arrive but he too was stillborn.   So we knew 1 more pup was waiting to be born but again, labor for Coco was trying.  So an injection was given and we went home to wait and see.  Several hours later, pup #10 finally arrived but also was stillborn.    All 3 stillborn pups were quite large in size and that is why Coco struggled and most likely the plencenta broke.   All 7 puppies are doing well and growing.

Why do I say this on my page?  Because I want to let those who don't know about what birthing is with this breed or any other breed.   It can be super easy or problems occur.  Dams or Bitches can go either way delivering pups and many cases it can be long enduring hours watching over the birthing.  Many times may involve the assistance of veterinary care.  With this said, this will be their puppy page for the next 8 weeks.

Aa of October 5, 2019 all Coco/Mister's puppies are placed and in their new homes now

PRICE OF PUPPY IS INCLUDING EAR CROPPING,  LIMITED AKC $1980.00 .  FULL AKC IS OPTION AT ADDITIONAL COST.

FYI:

As puppies grow so to the need to change collars.  The baby collars will be changing most likely during week #3 for they are growing enough to adapt to the toy or small size collar.  As they continue to grow, the collars will change to make if all possible the same color they started with.

Also, for tail docks, Coco tends to get the stitches removed from cleaning the pups. Within a few days from the vet docking tails, Coco did get almost all the pups stitches removed.  Neosporin was used to get them to heal.  So some pups may or may not have a little bald spot that many times is typical when docking tails.

Week #1

Puppies are growing and gaining weight. On day 9th, they are starting to open eyes.  They are starting to crawl and become explorers. Coco is rebounded from a week ago, and stays with the pups, and has a side of whelping area to relax while puppies sleep.

Week #2 - puppies eyes are open, puppies are puppy talk, puppies are walking around a little more, soon a slight change to whelping box towards end of week #3. Puppies are growing and everytime I pick them up they like to think I am going to feed them with supplement formula.   Nails were trimmed on puppies as teeth are barely starting to break thru.   Oh boy.

Week #3 --- For the start of week 3, puppies are growing nicely.  I swear they grew overnight Sunday to start their 3rd week.  They can see good, are playing with each other, and are being introduced to puppy formula to drink.  In a few days, a change in their puppy kennel to start with potty training with pine shavings for they are climbing on the otherside of the boxand Coco is encouraging it.  ;o)

Week #4 - Puppies are in weaning stage now.  Momma is not liking teeth biting, so we begin with puppy weaning stage.  They have double in weight from over 5 lbs to 6 lbs this week. They are learning more about when food is ready for them, playing more with each other and where sleep and potty is in their kennel stay.  They are growing very nicely.   I have now put names on each one for me to id them.

Week #5 - The puppies are growing now.  Eating most everything I give them, The Honest Kitchen, Royal Canin, raw ground meats (turkey/beef/chicken), wet dog food, cooked chicken, and cooked eggs besides formula for them to drink.  Starting to introduce semi soft kibbles or presoak kibbles. They will be weaned remainder of weeks on Victor Professional lifestages dog food besides all other human grade food.   Coco still feeds them a few times a day and still interacts with them.  Their teeth is what upsets her should they bite.   She lets them know.  All the puppies have super calm character for now.  They are playing a lot with each other and sometimes get into sibling scobbles.  Week 6 they will be vet checked and officially weighed at vet.  Speaking of weight, they weighed in Saturday from 6 to almost 8 lbs now.  Sweet.

Weel #6 - Sept 4th, puppies had their vet check up and included with it was: 1st vaccination, 1st worming meds, microchip, exam over, checked tails, checked hearts, clipped nails, and played with them a lot.  They did very well and had a blast running around the exam room, untying the vet's shoe lace, and trying to tug at their pant legs ;o).  All puppies will get a copy of vet's notes on exam with each puppy family.  btw - all puppies have really grown and with that so has their weights.   More to come. Ending this week with they are eating various brands kibbles - Royal Canin Professional, The Honest Kitchen, Victor Professional, and Fromm White Fish as well as food stted in week #5.   Starting to transition to dry form kibbles and they eat it no problem. They are sweet calm puppies.  They explore, they play more and more, they are perfect on target of puppy stage growth.

Week #7 - those for ear cropping are being scheduled end of the week - Final week before preparing the pups for their new families.   It has been a workout for me.  This will be a very busy 2 weeks for me and the pups besides Coco.   It's a blessing all is super great, pups personalities are super good, they are playful and getting into brother/sister squabbles, and boy can they eat and slurp up their meals.  They are fed with me a schedule of 4 meals a day, main meal is 8am and 2 pm.  Other 2 meals are lighter to balance out their food intake. More to come for this week and pictures..

Week 8 -- all puppies for ear cropping was done.  All puppies are now home with their new families.  Coco misses her duty as momma so she helped out Gabi's puppies when Gabi wasn't looking ...lol.... These past few weeks after pups went home as been very busy for me and the Dobermans here.  It is a lot of work keeping up with vet appointments, feeding, crop, scheduling puppy families coming to bring their new family member home.  We wish all puppies health, happiness and companionship with their new families.  We aim to raise solid puppies on healthy foods, supplements, and constant care in upbrining.  We hope the same with their new families for the joy in raising them for 8 weeks was yomen duties keeping them all healthy during their growth stages.

Week 9 - 11 -- Gia is remaining here with me.  She got her ears cropped at week 9 for vet scheduling was hectic including Gabi's pups.   I made my vet's week full full for getting all my pups for cropping.   Gia is doing great and growing fast.   She is a trooper.   More to come hopefully on her own page.
